WORKSHOP: Creating Inclusive Spaces for Youth, 10-11:30a

What can educators learn from arts-based cultural organizations and after-school programs in creating inclusive and affirming curriculum and best practices to support youth in all of their intersecting identities?

This workshop will specifically focus on how to create LGBTQ+ inclusive and affirming programs. Lion’s Tooth Project youth and Program Director will discuss the different tools you can incorporate to center the needs and voices of LGBTQ+ youth.

Followed by LESSON PLAN DEVELOPMENT: collaborate with photographers and journalists led by United Photo Industries and guest photographers. 12:30-4:00p
